What to expect
It’s a bit daunting visiting a new church for the first time. We try and make Wagga Wagga Evangelical Church as welcoming as we can to everyone, whatever your background. We're a pretty laid back bunch, so our services are relaxed and informal, whilst still being structured enough to help us to focus on the majesty of Jesus. If you’re coming for the first time, here’s what to expect.
You should be welcomed by someone at the front door. They will answer any questions you might have about our church. You'll notice that everyone is dressed pretty comfortably, in anything from semi-formal to shorts and T-shirts.

Our Church service usually comprises;
· A God-focussed time of upbeat singing and prayer which aims to focus our hearts and minds on Jesus
· A Kids Talk aimed at teaching children from the same part of the Bible that the adults will look at later in the service
· A short break mid-way through the service where our kids go to “Kids Church” for age-appropriate Bible teaching. There is also a crèche available.
· A Talk that is obviously and unapologetically from the Bible. Our aim is to apply God’s word to your situation and point you to Jesus in an understandable, relevant and real way.
After Church we hang around for Morning Tea and talk. We hope you'll join us one Sunday and that you'll feel comfortable enough to make this your home church. You'll soon learn that we're not perfect; but fortunately, we've been saved by the One who is!
